Sticker Poster Set // Pittsburgh, PA
College students have a tendency to get caught up in their required classes, which leaves their other interests to lay dormant. Curiosity is both an advertisement for students to expand their horizons and fun reminder.
Using my New Year's Resolution to learn everyday as a jumping off point I created this group of posters. These posters are meant to draw students in with an abstract design and catch them with the larger type. As you get closer you can read more and more text and discover that the poster is made of a tessellation of cats. Phrases like "Take out that ant farm and old binoculars and learn something new" reach every inch of the piece. The entire poster is made up of stickers that each say encourage curiosity. These individual stickers can be placed anywhere as reminders to be curious both from the type and the curious cat pattern. Ideally, the stickers would spread around campus from laptop to notebook and spread the spirit of curiosity to everyone on campus.
